We meet again at the check out. "Where's your hyacinth?" she asks. "There were none left, but that's okay," I say. In my head I am thinking I'll ask hubby to pick one up for us. When I get outside, she's waiting for me, hyacinth in hand. "Happy Easter! I want you to have this," she says.
I protest, but then I remember how one of the best things you can give a gift-giver is the joy of having given the gift to a grateful recipient (admittedly it took me a long time to get this). "Thank you very much," I respond. "And I know that you will get exactly what you need, when you need it most."
As I drive home with the scent of hyacinth filling my car, I think of how blessed I am. Then I think of all the free energy sessions I have done over the last couple of months ... helping people in many deep and profound ways yet wanting nothing in return but the ability to help. And I realize I'm in the flow; I'm doing it! So, come on, surf's up, catch the next wave ...
Lovingly,
Kristi

POSTSCRIPT ~ April 4Pay it forward ~ $4 of bliss ... Today I had the opportunity to keep the momentum going. Checking out at Walmart, the woman in front of me completed her order, paying by credit card. The clerk missed a generic med and as she started to prepare to scan my items she asked the other woman "oh, was this yours too?". The woman responded "yes" but she didn't have the cash and would come back another time for it. I told the clerk to scan it through on my order. The woman protested, saying she could just come back another time. I insisted and let her know it was my pleasure to do it for her. You'd have thought I was giving her $50. I think the clerk was amazed. Isn't it wonderful when you can give someone so much for $4?
